During the week of October 21st, 2019, Daimler Trucks North America sponsored all Store to Door delivery costs for homebound seniors and people with disabilities. During that period the program made 228 total deliveries from both Beaverton Town Center and Hollywood West Fred Meyer locations, bringing much-needed nourishment to homebound seniors and people with disabilities in the Portland metro area.

The sponsorship was a part of Store to Door’s Support-A-Week program, which involves community partners in the program’s work and allows them to directly support Store to Door clients on either a day or week basis.

Store to Door’s work is almost entirely volunteer-supported, and teams of Daimler employees followed up by volunteer shopping at our Hollywood location both Wednesday and Thursday!

Supporting Store to Door since 2016, Daimler has been a valuable partner in our work providing nourishment, connection, and dignity to seniors and homebound people in our community, and we are grateful for their commitment to our mission!
