In partnership with our mission to support independent living for seniors and adults with disabilities. Store to Door has partnered with the Portland Open Bible Community Food Box program!
We currently need Food Box Packers. This volunteer position is vital to keeping our food box program running. It’s like grocery shopping with us at the store, but on a smaller scale.
Responsibilities:
- Packing for 15 clients per week
- Gathering requested items from shelves and bins
- Packers are responsible for labeling tubs
- Packers ensure that food boxes are assigned to the correct client
- Attention to detail is a must
- The position requires volunteers to stand, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- 3-month commitment preferred
